Hey there, I recently attempted to add another fingerprint on my laptop (Asus ROG Zephyrus G14 GA401QH, which includes a goodix scanner). The results displayed when opening sign-in options are as shown below. I looked through some online guides suggesting data resets and similar steps, but nothing seemed trustworthy. After following instructions—especially since Windows Hello worked fine during sign-in lockscreen—I noticed the option appeared unavailable in settings initially. Only after restarting did it become available again. This was the case even before, and a simple reboot fixed it. However, when I tried to add another fingerprint, the issue resurfaced, making my login process slower and more error-prone. It’s frustrating because I didn’t realize the problem until now. I’m trying to resolve this quickly since it affects my school device, and I’d appreciate any advice or resources you can share.
