I've been attempting a clean setup on a brand new SSD I installed via a fresh install media on a brand new USB drive. The process completes and reaches the installation screen, where it informs me the Windows installation will restart several times, reaching 100% before shutting down to let me restart again. I've ensured boot mode is UEFI, fast boot is disabled, secure boot is turned off, but nothing seems to work. Since Windows 11 was already installed and running, compatibility shouldn't be the issue. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. My system has a B550 Prime processor and a Ryzen 5600 CPU.

I'm experiencing the same issue. Have you solved it before?

I've replaced the memory (2x16GB), upgraded the storage (MB - Asus PRime 365m-a), restarted countless times trying every setting, and installed fresh Windows 11 from four different drives (two SATA and two M.2). My system runs a 1650 MSI graphics card and everything remains stable—reboots consistently at the same point. I've assembled many computers over the years, so I'm comfortable diagnosing issues. This is the first document I found that describes the problems I've encountered. One day my computer failed to start, and since then it's been stuck in a loop. Fresh installations work, but once it boots, the Windows logo appears and it powers off immediately. After a few seconds, it restarts again, and the cycle continues endlessly. A USB drive can install updates, but it just joins the reboot process. It's frustrating.

The boot sequence in BIOS may be off. Try resetting it to defaults and adjust the order if required. It’s possible you need to upgrade your BIOS. While setting up Windows, clear all relevant partitions. If the problem continues, format the installation media and confirm you have a 64-bit operating system. Make sure the new SSD is intact and properly installed.
