I've been working for the past five hours trying to understand why Windows 11 isn't working on my ASUS ROG B450-F gaming laptop. It shows compatibility, but I just installed the latest BIOS update. Got any tips on what might be going wrong?
Is your FTPM activated? Do you possess a processor equipped with an FTPM?
Are you planning to move from Windows 10? Running a brand-new Windows 11 installation disk could cause issues if you don’t take care. Be careful about losing data on your C:/ folder when choosing a clean setup.
I might attempt to check, but it seems like the menu is likely the reason.
I didn't plan to do that when trying to install Windows 11 from Windows 10.
In Windows, press the start menu and type "partition." You'll see an option to "Create and format hard disk partitions." The interface will appear similar to this. Important Note To determine whether your drive uses MBR or GPT, choose the drive you're installing the OS on (for example, "Disk 2"). Right-click, select Properties, then Volumes, and it will appear under the partition style. See below for details.
