Windows Update often feels sluggish, possibly due to Microsoft's slow update process. It could also be because the system is still rolling out updates frequently. The best approach is usually to perform a clean OS installation using a USB drive. You can download the ISO from the provided link. If the built-in installer doesn't suit you, Rufus can handle it. It can also bypass certain security checks like TPM and Secure Boot if needed.

You likely have an older system that isn't receiving updates due to components not meeting Microsoft's stability standards for beta OS. If your setup differs from that, you should consider an enthusiast upgrade path. Could you share your specifications?

Ensure Windows 10 is current. CSM is turned off, UEFI mode is active, SecureBoot is enabled, Device Manager is recognizing all hardware correctly (no disabled entries or warning icons), BIOS/UEFI is up to date (prefer Windows 11 or newer), system drivers are fully installed (audio, printers, chipset, GPU, etc.), and all security-related software is up to date. Make sure you have ample free storage space.
