I recently acquired two new monitors, an ASUS TUF Gaming VG249QL3A. They are connected to my NVIDIA 2060 Super Founders Edition using DisplayPort. The issue I'm facing is that whenever I switch the monitors with Windows + P key, the system freezes or stalls for a few seconds. It's not a critical problem but it's quite bothersome when it happens. I've tried several solutions: running DDU in Safe Mode and reinstalling the latest NVIDIA drivers after rebooting. To be precise, I'm using DDU to prevent Windows from automatically downloading or installing drivers. The monitors are set at 180Hz, while my TV is at 60Hz. Please let me know if you need more details as I'm closely monitoring this thread. Thank you for your assistance and advice.

It's understandable to feel frustrated with this recurring problem. Using my laptop and monitor together consistently causes delays—about 3 to 5 seconds before it responds after pressing apply. There might be a solution, or we could simply adapt to the issue.

I share what @Hellowpplz said; it’s how Windows acts when you rearrange things on the screen. I don’t believe a solution exists.
