I know this feature isn't present in Windows 11 and I'm confused about why Microsoft would remove such important options from the system. I activated it using CMD by running powercfg /hibernate on and powercfg /h /type full, but the OS still doesn't follow the settings. I set it to hibernate after one minute of inactivity, yet it doesn't hibernate. I also tried setting it to sleep after one minute, but it still runs continuously until I manually shut it down. It seems the system is ignoring these changes.

Shut down, sleep, or hibernate your PC - Microsoft Support
Discover how to power off, put your device to sleep, or enter hibernation mode
support.microsoft.com
Hibernate
This feature is intended for laptops and may not apply to all PCs. (For instance, devices with InstantGo don’t support hibernation.) Hibernation consumes less energy than sleep, and when you restart the PC, you resume exactly where you left off (though not as quickly).

Choose hibernation if you’re certain you won’t use your laptop or tablet for a long time and won’t have a chance to recharge the battery during that period. Make sure to verify if this option is available on your device before enabling it.

My laptop will shut down automatically if I manually enable power settings on the start menu, using a third-party hibernation timer, and pressing the physical power button. It does not block this feature. After a certain period of inactivity as defined in Power Options within the Control Panel, it will not hibernate or enter sleep mode.
