HI All,
I recently assembled a PC and have been experiencing issues almost every day.
CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 7950X3D 16-Core Processor at 4.20 GHz
RAM: Corsair Vengeance DDR 5 96.0 GB (95.1 GB available) with 6000Mhz (BIOS reports 4800Mhz, unchanged)
GPU: NVIDIA 4090
PSU: MEG Ai1300, 1000 watts, PCIe 5, MSI
MB: MSI MAG X670E Tomahawk
OS: Windows 11
No overclocking enabled
Everything arrived brand new.
Please let me know if you require further hardware details or general information.
The primary problem is that the PC frequently restarts on its own. I couldn't locate any Mini dump or error logs in Event Viewer. During gaming or music playback, it abruptly shuts down and restarts without displaying a "Restarting Now" message—just the system booting up and opening Windows. This occurs usually once or twice daily.
I've subjected the system to stress tests using various applications to trigger crashes, but nothing succeeded. The PSU is rated at 704 watts, while it operates at 1300 watts. I've even configured the Pagefile to 97GB so Windows can write data from RAM to an error log, but it still doesn't work.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!
No Overclocking
Not even E.X.P.O enabled in BIOS?
RAM: Corsair Vengeance DDR 5 96.0 GB (95.1 GB usable) 6000Mhz (BIOS shows 4800Mhz not changed)
You should enable AMD's E.X.P.O and see if the issue persists.
MB: MSI MAG X670E Tomahawk
BIOS version for your motherboard at this moment?
How are you cooling the processor?

Thank you for your response. Everything seems standard. I adjusted the machine to avoid overclocking. I’m not certain if EXPO is active, but I recall performing a CMOS reset when the PC failed to boot, which suggests it wasn’t enabled by default. I recently updated the BIOS about a week ago (version 1.BO - AMD AGESA - 7E12v1A). I plan to turn on EXPO and observe the outcome.

My CPU cooling solution is an MSI MAG Coreliquid 360R V2 AIO Liquid Cooler. During stress testing—without crashing—I was able to reach temperatures around 78-80°C, though this occurred only after a prolonged test. When I tried enabling EXPO, the only available option was XMP profile 1. After saving and rebooting, the PC didn’t restart automatically; it required a hard reboot (holding the power button until shutdown), followed by a delay of at least 60 seconds before starting. Now the RAM is set to 6000Mhz, which allowed EXPO to be activated successfully.
