Windows 11 causing issues with Windows 10 installation drive
Hello, I've set up the Windows 11 leaked version on a 5400 RPM HDD and am using it with a SSD running Windows 10 Pro 21H1 plus another 2TB HDD spinning at 7200 RPM. The Windows 11 installation is leading to corrupted files on the SSD, and Windows 10 keeps trying to fix them. Anyone know what's behind this issue and how to resolve it? I used the Windows 10 21H1 bootloader for the install, and I found out my motherboard supports TPM 2.0. Thanks!
Never installed a leaked version as your primary operating system—it might lead to serious problems. Retrieve the files by booting from a USB drive with Windows PE. Transfer the files immediately once you start the OS.
Op isn't setting the leaked build as the primary operating system because if they had, it would likely be installed on their SSD. Unless you're mistaken, no one would use a leaked OS as their main system.
Apologies for the oversight. This might also stem from Windows 11 adjusting the hardware to boost performance (just a guess). Regarding corruption, what do you notice during the Windows 10 startup?
