It's been occurring over the past few days. Pressing the power button takes the PC directly to the desktop without prompting for login, even though the Windows Hello PIN is enabled. It only requests credentials when I manually lock the machine. This clearly indicates a major security issue, and any assistance would be greatly appreciated. I'm running the latest public Windows 11 version 21H2 with no available updates.

Open Command Prompt by pressing Win+R, input "netplwiz" and hit ENTER. Verify whether users need to provide a username and if a password prompt appears.

Do you have a Windows version connected to an MS account? It might not show up unless it's linked.

It's Win 11, honestly—it's pretty rough.

Navigate to Settings / Accounts, move a bit further down and turn off the option. The checkmark should appear in netplwiz.
