Windows 11 affects upload speeds significantly.
I've been running Windows 11 for roughly three months now and recently upgraded to a new internet package. My upload speed is currently between 5-15 Mbps. At first I didn't notice much until I tried another PC with Windows 10 installed, which was achieving 70-80 Mbps. I checked for problems but found nothing. Using HIREN with similar speeds has made me think the issue might be with the operating system, though it's still in a preview stage and won't be officially released until after October 5th. Also, on the dual-screen setup, the search button only functions on the main screen.
It seemed a bit crazy at first—like someone mentioned needing a huge upload speed just to run Windows 11, as if they were demanding your data.
The folks wearing foil hats will recall that. It seems fewer windows 11 and more poor execution. What networking gear do you have, and what PCs are running Windows 11 and Windows 10?
When Windows 11 launched, I returned to Windows 10 because I was in the development channel, and after switching to the beta version, I achieved full performance in Windows 11.
