Router: Asus RT-AC66u ISP: Comcast I faced issues with my NAT type becoming open. It worked a few weeks ago, but then it switched back to strict. Recently, I managed to get it set to moderate. The steps I've tried are detailed below: Assigned static IP to the desktop port forward 3074 (both 88, UDP, 53, 80 TCP, 500 UDP, 3544 UDP, 4500 UDP, 52907 UDP), enabled Teredo, reset Teredo manually assigning the 52907, disabled SIG ALG, and turned UPnP on. Now I'm stuck. I've done everything except creating a DMZ, which isn't something I really want to do. Any advice?

You might try setting up that DMZ to check if it helps, otherwise you can simply delete it.

Is your setup using a Comcast gateway? Is it operating in bridged mode? Otherwise, you’ll need a router connected to another router. Setting up port forwarding could become challenging.

If I tried this and the DMZ functioned, what might it signify? Probably there’s a method to bypass it.
