Checking if the Wi-Fi hotspot in Windows 10 enables communication between devices is a good question. If two computers are connected to the same hotspot, they should be able to interact with each other, provided the network settings allow it. Make sure both devices are using the same network name and password, and that the router supports multi-device connectivity.

I haven't tried it on Windows 10, though it still relies on the older Internet Connection Sharing method that's been around for two decades. This setup lets users communicate with each other and with the server.
