Windows 10 upgrade issue with hard drive not showing problem.
I'm facing an issue while upgrading to Windows 10, as the setup wizard doesn't display any available hard drives.
I employ tools like RAID software, hardware RAID, SATA and PATA interfaces are all recognized
1. Verify your BIOS to see if the boot device is listed
2. If it's missing, clear the CMOS
3. Should the device still not appear, inspect the SATA data and power cable (replace if necessary)
4a. Once any of these steps succeed, back up all your files and generate a bootable USB using a creation tool
4a2. Restart your PC and boot from the USB you've prepared
4a3. Attempt a clean Windows installation (select Custom/Advanced), then check if the boot device shows up; if not, load its driver by inserting the CD/USB and selecting 'Load Driver'
4b1. If none of the previous options work, it may indicate a dead boot drive.
