Windows 10 Sysprep tool for optimization
Hello Everyone, I'm dealing with an issue regarding image deployment on a Windows 10 machine built with version 1809 and a Dell Latitude E7390 laptop. The setup was done from scratch using one account, and we're using Symantec Ghost Solution Suite. When deploying a Sysprep image, the system runs Sysprep with the re-specialize option instead of the generalize setting. I'm not sure what the difference is between these two modes. In this case, re-specializing changes the SSID randomly. My question is whether choosing re-specialize affects the deployment differently than generalize, and how can I ensure the system uses generalize rather than re-specialize when installing a Sysprep image. This hasn't happened before on other devices.
