Your Windows 10 installation isn't entering sleep mode or displaying a blank/screensaver screen. You've checked power settings and power plans, used powercfg and lastwake without success, but no source is available. Someone might have changed the settings recently—consider restarting the PC or consulting system logs for more details.

Yes, when you manually select Sleep, your device automatically puts it to sleep.

Tried executing powercfg /requests and turned off wake on mouse and network settings, but the system still doesn’t blank or put it to sleep. Output shows no display, system, or EXECUTION details.

During inactivity, launch the command prompt with admin privileges and run the command: powercfg /energy /output C:\report.html. Check the generated report for any warnings or errors.

I experienced USB issues that stopped the screen from showing, but using a third-party Xbox 360 controller or Logitech Wingman Extreme 3D resolved it. How can I resolve this situation?

Settings > System > Power & Sleep > Additional plan settings (link) > Change plan settings > Advanced power options > Sleep > Permit wake timers > Off. If this doesn’t resolve the issue, restart your device and check again.

The issue seems linked to the In-Game Overlay feature and a connected joystick or stick. Disabling the overlay lets the PC sleep, but the exact reason isn't clear.
