Hello. After a new Windows 10 installation, it's common not to see the logo during startup. The system might be loading normally but not displaying the branding yet. This is usually normal.

Starting with Windows 8, if your system supports UEFI and it's enabled, and an image exists in the UEFI for Windows, that one will be used instead of the default. Unless a motherboard manufacturer offers a tool to switch it, or a UEFI setting is available to revert to the old BIOS (which you shouldn't use), then it's not possible.

I changed the boot method to UEFI in the Storage Boot Options settings. If I select Legacy, the Windows logo should reappear. The difference between having a logo versus none depends on your preference and system requirements. Performance impact is generally minimal unless you're using specific features tied to the logo. It shouldn't matter much for most users.

Legacy refers to a slower startup process, lack of GPT support (MBR is available instead), no Secure Boot functionality, lower boot resolution, inability to boot drives larger than 2TB due to MBR constraints, different operating system boot requirements, needing OS reinstallation, restriction to four partitions per drive (though logical partitions bypass this), and overall limitations imposed by the MBR format.

It's advisable to configure UEFI for optimal performance and security.

You're seeing everything correctly. The Windows logo isn't appearing, but your system is booting from the correct UEFI setup. That's expected.

UEFI will display the motherboard brand. BIOS won’t show up since there’s no compatibility. You also can’t modify it unless the manufacturer provides a tool to alter or turn it off.

I noticed the Windows logo was missing after your last installation. It’s possible to restore it during startup. Let me know if you need guidance on how to do that. Thanks for asking!
