Click your desktop right-click and navigate to personalize, then choose a fresh theme.

I don't believe it's that way. I just switched to all the other themes, but none of them resemble the original start menu. It seems the OP might have a third-party app installed, or the Windows 10 setup was interrupted.

Isn't this Start8? It seems almost identical to the third-party start menu I had on Windows 8.1. Should we perform a fresh installation or remove that software, ideally a complete one? About 90% of issues with Windows 10 stem from this.
