You're experiencing an issue where red lines appear under your correctly spelled words in the language panel. It seems the setting for English (US) isn't being applied properly. Check your keyboard layout—ensure it's set to the correct language and that the "US" layout is recognized. If the problem persists, try clearing the settings or restarting the app to resolve any conflicts.

Yes, there are only a few variations in spelling... If no other answers appear, I'll proceed. I'd still favor it if it worked in maple syrup mode rather than bald eagle mode.

Colour my surprise as if it were a French-Canadian lady! What’s the twist for the maples?

I'm trying to understand why I'm sharing this, but honestly, it's probably not worth it. I mix in a few 'languages' and drop in words like 'zee' often—kind of funny given what I'm saying. It's strange, but I just go with the flow. Pursuing a Computer Science degree hasn't really solved my color vs. color confusion, though. I've been known to say 'Heresy.'

This messaging app typically uses its own language preferences, separate from the operating system's settings.

It appears Facebook Messenger is using Google Chrome. I'll review the Chrome settings...

Yup! I updated Google Chrome's display language to English (Canada), and now both color/colour verification and check are recognized as correct. Thanks!
