Hello. The issue involves the ASUS Vivobook X541UA where certain menu letters are underlined. You attempted to fix it using regedit and checked related Windows settings, but they remain disabled despite being active. It seems the problem might be deeper, possibly involving BIOS or hidden system options. A screenshot of the affected menu is attached for further review.

Access the Windows Settings menu. Go to Ease of Access, then Keyboard. Toggle on the shortcut underlines for better accessibility.

It's already turned off, yet the choice remains enabled. Updated on April 23, 2018 by drax_mafra – screenshot added

I understand, I'm sorry for the oversight. I'll try switching to Safe Mode and adjusting the setting.

The feature was turned off in Safe Mode as well, yet the text remained highlighted. This issue occurred again.

I noticed you attempted regedit earlier, so I'll test the alternative command now. Restarting your system will help confirm results.

Everything is set correctly. There seems to be an issue with the input or formatting.

This could indicate an issue tied to your specific account. To test with another account, activate the administrator user via the command provided or create a new user.
