I’m tired of waiting in queues and got the Windows 10 installer from Microsoft. It worked without problems, but during setup it showed Latvian and refused to let me choose keeping my installed apps and files. Since I’m in Latvia, my region is set correctly, but the language doesn’t match what I expect. My system uses Latvian as the interface language, yet Windows 10 defaults to English. I need a way to install it in English and retain all my programs and personal files without changing the language. I also don’t want to risk messing up the installation or having a completely different interface.
