Hey! Yeah, those Windows 7 serial numbers might still work for Windows 10. You can try using them to activate the new system. Just check if your laptop supports reusing old serial info for a different OS. Good luck!

You wouldn't need Windows 10. You can get them for around $7 to $20 on sites like G2A or others.

The promotion is no longer available. Upgrading from Windows 7 to Windows 10 is not possible anymore. You can purchase a new license from Microsoft. Alternatively, you might consider buying from an online reseller at the provided link.

These laptops are likely to remain functional (some OEM licenses have been extended indefinitely), though the license remains tied to them. You cannot switch to a different device type or transfer the license between devices. You can run Windows 10 without a key, but you’ll see a watermark in the bottom-right corner and the Personalization Settings will be unavailable. All other features remain intact, including updates and full access to options via other applications and the registry.
