Since upgrading to Windows 10 Pro, screen tearing has become a persistent issue that only V-Sync resolves. In competitive play, this isn't viable. On Windows 7, adjusting the maximum frame rate to just below the monitor's refresh rate eliminated the problem almost completely. This method doesn't apply in Windows 10, no matter the settings. What's happening? Any insights would be appreciated. By the way, enabling Triple Buffering has made things smoother overall. My system specs: Ryzen 2700x x470 Mobo, Nvidia 1080 Ti, 16GB RAM, 60Hz display, no adaptive sync technology.
