Hi there! I'm a small YouTuber who's been experimenting with various screen recording tools for my PC. The issue I'm facing is that using any of them damages my CPU, which then causes my video to freeze or display only a black screen even though the audio works. I've tried software like Fraps, OBS, Dxtory, and Hyper Cam, but they either crash during playback or mess up the frame counter. I'm really hoping someone can help me find a better solution that won't cost much while still letting me record smoothly.

I hope I could have used an NVIDIA GPU! I'll try Frappe again!

According to xAcid9, you should give the Xbox app a try. You don’t need to know the exact length of your recording, just check it out.

I've used the Xbox app, but the game's hot bar isn't visible anywhere in my games. That means I can't even save anything!

Enable the feature by launching the XBox application, navigating to Settings, and selecting "Game DVR." Verify that it is activated. Additionally, review the other configurations to ensure everything is correct.
