The article from Tek Syndicate offers helpful resources for eliminating many unnecessary Windows 10 programs. It’s unclear whether this will significantly improve your system, though the Xbox app with built-in desktop capture is worth removing. I performed a clean installation on my Desktop and suggest doing so unless you’re completely certain about switching everything over.

I see, my processor details aren’t great, which could make performance sluggish. It seems tasks now take about four times longer on Windows 10 compared to earlier versions.

You won’t lose the capability to revert if necessary. Simply download the Windows 7 version you currently have and reinstall it using your key.
