Hello everyone! I just created a Minecraft server and set a 400GB data limit on its connection. My concern is, if that limit is hit, what will happen? Will there be an alert, or will the connection be cut off completely? I’m not finding clear guidance anywhere, so I thought it was wise to ask here. My goal is to have the server automatically stop using data once the 400GB is reached, so I won’t exceed my ISP’s cap without having to keep track manually.

I couldn't verify it on my own because Windows isn't able to monitor my network card, but I set the limit to 1mb and observed what occurred when it hit that threshold. I think it simply blocked it. Proper answer below Edited April 19, 2022 by Coltinator

Thanks for your feedback. It's a letdown, but I'll explore alternative options. You're welcome!
