Windows 10 reinstallation causes a black screen issue.
Hi. I moved from Windows 8.1 to Windows 10 without issues. Then I decided to reset my PC by reinstalling Windows 10 and wiping everything. That’s when things went wrong. Initially everything seemed okay until Windows 10 tried to install again, resulting in a black screen. It didn’t respond. I stayed up all night after my PC shut down. When I restarted, it still wouldn’t work. After that, I tried installing Windows 8 once more, but it kept warning the PC wasn’t turned off properly—so I restarted again. I’m considering removing my SSD and installing Windows 8 on it before putting it back in. If you need more details, let me know and I’ll do my best to help. Thanks.
Use a better drive for the installation media. It isn't choosing it as the correct boot device.
