I believe updates are set to run automatically. I’ll look again later, but I’m confident everything will be up to date.

You qualify as long as you have the latest version and a genuine copy. Check the provided link for details. This change was made by SansVarnic on June 28, 2015. Hope it assists.

I also had a friend facing the same issue—he hadn’t updated his windows, so he had to look for updates himself and install them manually.

You can set the app to appear manually by visiting the Microsoft website and following their guidance for adding it to your system.
