Hey everyone, I just installed Windows 10 about two hours ago. Every time I start up, I see a pop-up saying an important temp file (152402log.ini) was lost. This message keeps appearing. There are other issues too: my microphone sounds distorted when I’m sitting still and closer to it, and I had to raise the volume by 25 just for people to hear me—previously it was fine at 20. Lastly, Windows says I have 20GB of RAM installed, but I only have 16. I’m really frustrated because I don’t think I can fix these problems on my own; my technical skills aren’t enough and this is really annoying.

Could try this when Windows 10 is running slowly, because when it fails I can't switch to Windows 7 since my CD is with my mom and I'm at my dad's house for three weeks. That mom's place is an hour away, and honestly driving back and forth would be a hassle.

Ensure you haven't removed your widows.old file. Press Shift while restarting, navigate to the troubleshooting option in the recovery menu, select advanced settings, and pick "restore to previous build." This should return you to Windows 7.

I realize what I just did, but the issue is... I need Windows 10. Many people seem to have the same problem, especially on the microphone side, yet no solution exists. Without Windows 10, I won’t have DX12 either, which is concerning. I’m planning to wait about a month before trying again, since spending eight hours troubleshooting my PC really frustrated me today.
