For pure computer use and quicker startup times, even a budget SSD can make a big difference. https://www.microcenter.com/product/6230...tate-drive If you're into gaming, you'd prefer larger capacities. Investing so much in hardware yet keeping costs low makes this seem like an overblown comment.

It seems the hard disk drive is the main issue. Consider switching to an SSD—ideally a M.2 NVMe unit—and transfer your HDD into it (if you have enough space). You might keep the HDD in your device only for storing data that isn’t used often.
