This occurs often lately where my PC occasionally shuts down or switches tabs while playing my game, whether fullscreen or windowed. I attempted various fixes like disabling the Xbox display and reverting the Nvidia graphics driver, but those didn’t resolve the issue.

Identify the conflicting programs. Turn off anything unnecessary, like Windows security. Recreate the issue. Remember to restart your PC after each change.

Windows might try to remove you. You can adjust the right-click corner to just trigger an alarm.

I would take that action, at least it fits my setup. Consider trying it if it fails—we need to discuss whether you're using window mode in-game or which games might be causing issues.

Windows shouldn't automatically hide the game just for notifications. The only alerts you receive are from scans, which don’t interrupt play. A game mode might be useful—probably already enabled.

The recent games have experienced issues: Earth Defense Force 4.1 and 5, and Resident Evil 4. At the moment, I'm using the windowed version of Earth Defense for this, while RE4 runs in fullscreen.
