Hi, I recently purchased a used Surface Pro 3 running Windows 8.1 and am curious about upgrading to Windows 10. Do any of you have experience with this transition? Could it be worthwhile? I’m also interested in knowing if the Surface interface in Windows 10 offers features that improve usability compared to Windows 8.1. Thanks!

Works perfectly for me. I’m not sure what you’re referring to, since there aren’t any hidden features when using a Surface Pro with Windows 10. The overall experience is solid—Windows 10 is installed elsewhere, so I won’t go into detail. You’ll enjoy the Ink Workspace, and the ink support in Windows Maps is also great. With the Creators Update, you can use the pen with Paint3D, and there’s support for the Surface Dial if you’re using a compatible drawing program.
