Hello, It seems you're experiencing issues with double-clicking or interacting with icons and files, sometimes needing multiple clicks or failing to respond. This isn't typical mouse behavior, so it might relate to Windows updates affecting functionality. Could be a known problem with a potential fix available.

Hi, I've had a similar problem too. My mouse caused issues in games—everything worked fine, but in Windows I had to click more times or the folder would open multiple times after just one click. I'm trying to replace the mouse and see how it affects things.

I've seen the same thing on my friend's laptop—it also runs a relatively new mouse with a fresh Windows 10 version.

Have you checked the Windows mouse adjustments? There’s a control for adjusting sensitivity on double-click. If your mouse reacts when you gently press the button, it might mean the device has a mechanical issue.
