I've been facing more problems with Windows 10 lately. I really don't like those seasonal updates. Recently, my PC started using a lot of CPU power and won't stop. (shown in pic). This service is related to audio on Windows, so shutting it down would cut off sound. I tried restarting, updating, and running sfc /scannow but nothing changed. As a 7-core processor with 3.4GHz, even 3-5% usage is quite high. Any advice?

I attempted a restart of the service, but the problem remains. Please avoid reinstalling Windows again if possible.

You can adjust the task priority to low, which ensures any program you choose runs with lower priority.

Have you checked for the newest drivers for your audio card?

It seems the problem lies with your hardware drivers rather than Windows. Verify that your graphics card drivers are up to date, along with your sound card or chip drivers.

I've already updated to the latest version and this problem only appeared yesterday. I've been using Windows Update 1903 for a few weeks now. Probably just needs a full reinstall.
