Windows 10 isn't using all of my memory space.
Sorry for the confusing terminology. As you noticed, I have 32GB of RAM, but Windows only utilizes half of it. Even though a memory-intensive game is running, the browser sometimes freezes or crashes because of the memory limit. There was a similar issue before my RAM upgrade, and I managed to fix it by doing some research online, though I can't recall the exact steps I took. My setup uses a 4x8 stick with dual channels, and Windows doesn’t show any maximum memory settings—just the default options you’ll find on the first search result page.
Having serious doubts about your crashes being due to memory limit, can you screenshot whatever error or report that leads you to believe that's the issue?
Hey everyone. The opera suddenly throws up an "out of memory" warning, and Game Studio on Amazon keeps failing to build games. That’s a lot of RAM being used right now. But regardless of which apps are hogging it, it doesn’t really matter who’s using the most or least.
Using standard opera, though sometimes it crashes in chrome too. My issue isn’t about crashes but about performance—even after upgrading RAM and opening many browser tabs to stress-test memory, usage stays under 16GB.
I don’t take it seriously. This setup is done this way? Every drive follows that pattern. By the end of the day, whenever someone alters this screen, they often arrive confused about why they’re facing problems. Please switch back to the TOP checkbox for "Automatically manage paging file size for all drives" and reboot.
