I resolved the boot lock problem but when I enabled it, my mind shifted to simplifying profile settings, which led me to use a simpler password. Now I’m trying to transfer a Windows 10 installation from my Chromebook to a flash drive, but files are getting stuck. Help needed!

P.S. Can I install Linux on the same drive as my current desktop?
P.P.S. If I build a new computer, how do I erase Windows 10 from an existing drive?

It doesn't matter anymore; the issue was only the initial hitch, not the rest.

Sure, that's a common way to back up your system while it's running.

As discussed, I explained the method for copying files that aren't allowed.
