I bought Windows 10 and attempted a fresh setup. It functioned until an update forced a restart. A clean install meant booting from the UEFI, erasing the SSD, then connecting the USB with Windows 10. The screen displayed a black display with a blue window icon, accompanied by spinning white dots for about 45 minutes. While the mouse and keyboard dimmed briefly and flashed repeatedly, the process halted after the wait. After roughly 45 minutes, a blue screen appeared and prompted another restart. I believe the message indicated a system issue requiring a reboot. I went to sleep and checked the next day, assuming it needed more time to load. I tested turning it off manually, using safe mode, debug mode, etc., but none resolved the problem. I reformatted the USB and re-downloaded Windows 10 multiple times—still the same outcome. I switched to a larger USB drive (over 4GB) and attempted a upgrade from Windows 8.1 using the built-in upgrade tool, but it failed with error C1900101-40017 in the control panel. The support page suggested searching for specific codes. Should I wait for the update to complete, or is there a fix available now?
