Hello, I had to reinstall my Windows again. It seems like this happens regularly. My PC has a B350 motherboard, a Ryzen 1700 CPU, and a Titan XP GPU. I installed Windows 10 version 1903 using a USB 2.0 flash drive and connected it. Then I accessed the boot menu via F12 and selected the USB UEFI option. When I tried the other option without the UEFI part, it showed an error saying the drive isn't valid. After selecting UEFI, the installation started and displayed a message about missing drivers, asking me to search for them. I checked both USB 2.0 and 3.0 ports, downloaded drivers from the motherboard site, and used the browse feature to install them. However, I still couldn't resolve the issue. I also noticed that both my USB drive and the hard drive are visible and accessible, but I’m not sure what drivers are missing. Could someone help fix the driver mixing problem for AMD Ryzen? Thanks!

It clarifies which drivers are involved, the current phase of operation, and whether you can choose a specific drive or partition for installation.

It requests drivers at the location where it usually allows you to choose which partition you want windows on.

It seems the system isn't locating your primary storage drive, which is what it's requesting from drivers. Could you tell me about your storage configuration?

It's an HDD connected via your SATA ports, not the CPU, and a USB flash drive is plugged into the USB port. If your system can't locate the system drive, it won't appear in the device manager options for drivers.

It seems unusual. Have you adjusted the system drive settings? There could be an issue preventing Windows from recognizing it properly. Also, verify in the BIOS that hotplug isn't active on this SATA port.

I understand, I won't show anything unwanted. I'm ready to reformat it however you like.

I noted the hotswap feature, which would treat it as a removable drive even though it only needs to install on a fixed one.

I doubt your PC can handle hot-swapping; I'll look into the BIOS. Thanks.
