I assembled this machine last summer and it functions well. Recently, I switched from a 1080p display via HDMI to a 4K screen using a DP cable. I also attached an MM1000 mouse pad and connected my printer, which I hadn't previously linked. Nothing seems to interfere with its operation. When the computer rests sufficiently to shut down, it freezes upon restarting and fails to log in, requiring a full reboot. Whether from a restart or a proper shutdown, it doesn’t boot Windows initially. It doesn’t identify any bootable storage. In UEFI settings, both drives appear, but the boot menu only lists the HDD—my SSD boot drive isn’t visible. A hard restart forces it to boot Windows without issues, and the same occurs after a quick reboot without entering UEFI. Could this be related to my SSD? I’ve owned this Samsung drive since its inception.

I've figured out that shutting down via Windows and pressing the power button again brings it back on.

I believe I've figured it out. The retaining clip on the SATA data cable from my SSD stopped working. It seems the cable came loose, which was likely why the drive wasn't recognized. I’m not sure why the drive functioned after a hard restart, but securing it more firmly has helped. I have a WD Black SN750 NVMe drive and plan to move the OS there, which should resolve the issue.
