When assembling a PC, you start without an operating system, so should I purchase the original software or take my machine to a shop for installation? I have the license key, but does that mean the system is ready to use?

You can build your own installer on a functional Windows machine. Just download the Microsoft Media Creation Tool, insert a USB drive with at least 8GB, launch the tool, choose your USB device and wait. Once started, boot from the USB and the installer will begin.
