It seems something unusual is happening with your system. After checking all running processes, nothing appears to be consuming a significant share of the CPU—yet your system is using around 10 GIGAFLOPS, which is excessive. There might be background applications or services you don’t recognize that are using resources without your input. Also, the high load could be due to background updates, scripts, or even malware. Consider reviewing your startup programs and monitoring tools to identify the cause.

The MEM usage is a problem, but I just upgraded to version 7 since Windows 10 had many issues and memory leaks.

Its Windows Defender feature that you can't delete and only shuts down temporarily—it forces itself back on, performs random scans, and uses up your CPU.

Task Manager will show the running process. It seems to be Windows Defender on Windows 10. Turn off sleep mode and let it run overnight, and it should stop causing issues.
