Your Windows 10 PC is experiencing a slow reset process, having taken eight hours since you began it, and the progress isn't visible because of the MSI cover during startup. Try restarting your PC in safe mode or using the built-in troubleshooter to identify any issues. If problems persist, consider checking hardware components or seeking further technical support.

Avoid using the Windows recovery options—they run very slowly. If you want to "restart" your computer, consider reinstalling Windows from scratch.

I wouldn't suggest using the Reset PC feature. It's better to save your files, clean up, and start over with a new setup. If your Windows is severely damaged, a fresh installation might be the safest option.

It's already active. What should I do next? I cleared all the storage, which is 120GB SSD and a 4TB HDD.

Are your files stored securely? Once you confirm, you can insert the Windows setup disk, clean your SSD (likely the main storage drive), and proceed with the standard installation process.

This might be causing the delay. Simply power down the computer and utilize a Windows 10 installation USB drive for a fresh setup.

It lacks backup support. Also, I don’t have Windows installation files. I’m just replacing the old OS after a reset.

I'm sorry you're not happy with this. Do you have any other ideas or preferences I can consider?

Obtain a USB drive and create a Windows 10 installer on a different machine, boot from it, then reinstall Windows via the USB. This process should complete in 15 minutes or less on an SSD.
