This situation is quite distinct, isn't it? A corrupted hard drive typically leads to lost information. Bad sectors indicate physical damage to the drive. It also doesn't seem to be related to the operating system's issues.

I take the blame on Windows 10 since I notice daily posts claiming it won't work. It seems they may have rushed the release.
