Windows 10 is frozen during setup.

as soon as i reach it, it just doesn’t move—it’s stuck, like it’s frozen. i unplugged the usb and my wifi adapter.

I prefer around 20 minutes, though I’m not sure how long to keep it. The blue light doesn’t flicker—it just appears static. I’m using the upgrade tool from Microsoft 64-bit.

20 mins is fine.... its a problem if its for hours or days... your over reacting.

It might depend on both your hard drive or SSD speed and your internet connection. My SSD completed quickly, but the slow internet could affect overall performance.

I installed it with the system running, but after 20 percent of the issue occurred, a watchdog alert appeared, leading me to disconnect my second hard drive I relied on for backups.
