Hi there, I just got an Acer notebook with Windows 10 Home already set up. I’m not sure if I should switch to Windows 8 or 8.1 without reinstalling. Do I really need a new license for that version? Please share your thoughts. Cheers!

It could be better since it works quicker, offers additional tools, includes dx12, and receives steady updates. Consider trying it again.

The software I'm using at work doesn't work with Windows 10. Understand, I really like Windows 10 for my gaming PC, but here I can't use it.

When you purchased it ready-to-use, you cannot upgrade since no previous Windows version was present. You must reinstall using a different operating system such as Windows 7, 8 or 8.1. What was learned?
