You're experiencing connectivity issues both with and without hardwiring. It might be related to Windows activation status or configuration settings. Check if your PC is properly activated and ensure all drivers are updated. If the problem persists, try resetting network settings.

You're questioning whether your setup requires a Tomahawk B450 or something similar for Wi-Fi. It seems you're unsure if the device is even needed for that purpose.

You require a WiFi card for connecting to a WiFi network, or it should be integrated into the motherboard. Laptops typically include a pre-installed WiFi card.

It's completely normal to be unsure about things at first. Did you happen to think about setting up a Wi-Fi card?

For a very limited budget this option is recommended at $25. The main issue is the fixed antenna design, which limits adjustments except by rotating it. If you have extra funds, I suggest the alternative at around $36, offering more flexibility and better placement on top of the PC for improved signal. It also supports Bluetooth.

Bluetooth functionality is great, thanks for the ideas! I won’t need Wi-Fi since my Ethernet cable performs well, though I could consider one of these for Christmas.
