I recently assembled a new computer and set it up with Windows 10. I began to question whether Windows 10 offered better performance compared to Windows 8.1. My system is an Intel i7 4790k, paired with an MSI GTX 970 MSI Z97 G43 Corsair CX 500 and a 500GB SSD. With the new setup, I consistently achieve around 60-80 FPS at full settings (16 chunks), and I’m not sure if using OptiFine or any modifications would really help since my performance remains strong in most games.

It's hard to decide because the final update isn't available yet.

Windows 10 har Direct X 12, men API, som gir bridging mellom grafik og aplikasjoner, er vigtig. Det er mer effektivt at vi bruker Direct X 9, 10 og 11 nu.

But unless the games are developed for DX12, you won't be able to utilize this function.

It's likely they'll remain mostly unchanged except for occasional updates.
