I have a Windows 10 system I’d like to transform into a gaming setup. Connect it to the large TV in your media room where you normally play games. You’re looking for ways to give it a console-like appearance instead of its regular desktop look. Any suggestions?

I really don't like the big picture—it actually makes things harder to reach while making them look worse than the usual Steam skin. I prefer the metro skin and mostly stick to the small mode. https://metroforsteam.com But Steam is still the best choice, maybe you'll enjoy the shelves too. I think the default looks so fixed that changing colors isn't an option. Another plus is that Steam lets you install almost any game or app with full controller support. So it's pretty close to a console feel, even with achievements if you like them.
