I was checking the internet on one of my machines and it suddenly stopped working, so I pressed the power button to shut it down. After turning it back on, it didn’t recognize the hard drive. I’ve changed the SATA cables, but that didn’t help. I booted into Mac OS on the computer using a backup HDD I had, and it opened Disk Utility which identified it as media. I attempted a wipe, but it wasn’t possible. I also tried running Windows and using CMD to access disk utilities, but the hard drive still wouldn’t show up.

Download Windows, save it to a USB drive or CD, open BIOS, choose the boot device, and attempt to format your hard drive using the Windows setup. Note that if your motherboard can’t recognize the HDD, it may be faulty.

I did this using my SSD. Turned it off, unplugged it for 30 seconds, then plugged it back in and restarted. Also confirmed it’s being recognized by the BIOS.

Turn off RAID and set your HDD to AHCI if it isn't already.

I've already attempted that but it isn't picking it up. I'm going to wait a bit to check for any updates.
