Hello, I downloaded the official ISO for Windows 10 today. I made a bootable USB drive. During the installation setup, when I selected clean install, the modification date showed as 2017/09/30. Does that make sense? Thank you!

You're unlikely to receive the update by simply downloading the official ISO for Windows 10. There are two options available: one for the standard installation and another for the Fall Update, which suggests the regular ISO may not yet contain the latest patch.

Check the Media Creation Tool version by selecting it, then choosing Properties > Details > Product version to see the Windows build number. Creators Update (17-03) corresponds to build 15063, while Fall Creators Update (17-09) is build 16299. The ISO version should match one of these releases. I believe the tool supports all editions, including 32-bit and 64-bit, and it installs directly to USB without additional programs. Based on your usage, the Fall Creators Update 1709 version aligns with September 2017. It seems you're using the correct release.
