Windows 10 fails to start following a blue screen of death.
I encountered issues with my Lenovo Yoga 530 using Driver Easy. The updates kept triggering a blue screen, possibly due to a video output problem during installation. After restarting, it didn’t boot further beyond the Lenovo loading screen. Safe mode and driver repair attempts didn’t help. I don’t remember the exact error message, and I can’t uninstall the driver because I can’t access Windows. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
What is this? Please tell me what it is and I'll explain its details.
If everything else fails, consider a hands-on fix, though it might not be worth your effort. If BitLocker isn’t active, try starting another OS from a removable disk—like a modified Linux version or an old Windows version if available. You should still be able to reach the file system and extract what you need. After that, proceed with a complete reinstall. Also, I usually advise against software that installs drivers automatically unless they’re faulty; unless something is broken, you probably don’t need a new driver, except for special "Game Ready" ones.
I think I’ll give it a shot if I can, do you have any recommendations for guides? Just starting out with bootable drives.
